Every year the National Center for Educational Statistics, a part of the US Department of Education,  contacts schools across the country to participate in the National Assessment for Educational Progress. This year EEACS has been contacted to administer the assessment to a selected group of 8th graders. The assessment will take place on Wednesday, February 16, 2022.

The selected students are not chosen by EEACS, they are chosen for us as a random sample of students. Parents whose student has been chosen to participate in the assessment have been contacted through School Messenger and a letter being sent home with your student. The following links will help you understand more about NAEP and how the results are used nationwide. All reported results are confidential and your student’s name is not associated with any of the data being collected.
