Good Afternoon Parents of the Class of 2026,
As we get closer to the end of the school year and your students’ senior year at Executive, I want to share with you some information on end of year events. As we tell students all of the time the year is not over yet and there is still hard work to do, but we want to keep everyone informed of these important dates.
AP Testing
May 6th-21st
Students who took AP classes have their exams during these times. If students earn the passing grade required by their post-secondary school they will earn the 3 college credit hours for the respective course.
What’s Next Wednesday
May 27th, 2:00pm at Executive in Team 6 Assembly
Seniors and their parents/guardians are invited to this event. This is a more personalized celebration of our soon-to-be graduates than graduation. We will recognize what is next in these students’ lives and their favorite memories from their time at Executive. Also, rumor has it that LVHN may award scholarships to some students who participated in the intern program.
Knoebels Senior Trip
May 28th
Seniors who turned in a permission slip will leave campus at 8:15 am and return at 4:15 pm. This is a day to bond as a class before graduation. Students will receive a $10 voucher to spend on food or merchandise in the park. This event is rain or shine so please plan accordingly.
Art Show/Talent Show
May 28th, 5:00-7:00
Executive High School students have the chance to display their Art work from throughout the school year in the auditorium. There will also be a talent show in Team 6 assembly at 5:00, which will run for less than an hour.
Senior Prom
May 29th, 7:00-11:00pm at The Club at Twin Lakes
Seniors who purchased tickets are invited to dress up in their best attire and enjoy one of the rites of passage of their senior year. Students are required to be in school until 10:00am on this day in order to attend the prom that night.
Finals Week
June 1st-5th
Students will take finals in their classes, these grades still affect GPA’s, and in some cases determine whether the student passes the entire class. It is important they take these seriously. Students are dismissed at 12:00 this entire week if they have transportation or can get a ride home.
Graduation Practice
June 8th, students will be bussed from school to Miller Symphony Hall in Allentown to do a graduation walkthrough. It is mandatory that all graduates be in attendance on this day.
Graduation Ceremony
June 9th, 6:00pm at Miller Symphony Hall
Each student will be given eight (8) tickets to the ceremony and extra tickets will be distributed on an as needed basis as equitably as possible while they last. Last year I was able to accommodate every request. Doors will open at 4:45.
Transcript Requests
All Executive alumni will need to access the Parchment link on the ee-schools.org website (Under Helpful Resources on the Main Page) to order copies of transcripts in the future.
